Terms & Conditions for Image Licensing & Purchases

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the licensing and purchase of digital images from [Your Business Name] (“Photographer,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”). By purchasing or using our images, you (“Customer,” “You”) agree to these terms.
1. Image Licensing Options
We offer two types of licenses:
A. Social Media License (Personal Use)
This license is for personal use only and allows you to share the image on social media platforms.
- Permitted Use:
- Posting on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Using as a profile picture, cover photo, or social media post
- Cropping or resizing for social media format
- Not Permitted:
- Printing or reproducing in any format
- Using for commercial or advertising purposes
- Selling, redistributing, or sublicensing the image
Attribution: Not required, but appreciated when possible (e.g., “📷 by @peterson3photography”).
B. Full-Resolution / Commercial License
This license grants rights to use the image in professional or commercial projects.
- Permitted Use:
- Business websites, marketing, or branding
- Digital and print advertisements
- Publications (magazines, books, promotional materials)
- Social media for business or brand use
- Unlimited prints for business or personal use
- Not Permitted Without Additional Agreement:
- Reselling or sublicensing the image
- Using the image in a way that implies endorsement without consent
- Modifying the image to create derivative works that you sell
2. Payment & Delivery
- Payment must be made in full before images are delivered.
- Social media images are provided as web-resolution files (e.g., 1080px wide).
- Full-resolution/commercial license images are delivered in high-resolution format.
- Files are sent via secure download link or cloud storage.
3. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of our images, all sales are final. Refunds or exchanges are only available if:
- The file is corrupt or inaccessible upon download.
- There is an error on our end in fulfilling the order.

4. Copyright & Ownership
- All images remain the intellectual property of the Photographer.
- Purchasing an image grants a license to use, but does not transfer ownership.
- Unauthorized distribution or reproduction may result in legal action.
5. Liability & Indemnification
We are not liable for:
- Third-party misuse of images.
- Any legal issues arising from improper use of the image by the buyer.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Peterson 3 Photography against any claims related to misuse.
