I’m Ella Peterson, one-third of Peterson III Photography. My sisters and I grew up in Ashland, VA, riding horses and always having a camera in hand. Photography has been part of our lives for as long as we can remember, and turning it into a business felt like the perfect way to combine what we love.

We continued our photography education in college, with my older sister and I graduating from Sweet Briar and our youngest sister starting there in the fall. Together, we capture moments that feel real, natural, and timeless—whether in the barn, at a wedding, or anywhere in between!
